Thanks for writing such thoughtful responses to the week 7 question. I enjoyed reading all of your comments.
In some ways, we've come "full circle" here on our modest blog. That is, we started the blog by talking about Montana (Missoula to be exact), and now here we are talking about it again.
This week's focus is in some ways related to our two previous questions; indeed, you've shown that each and every one of your hometowns and countries offers something special in this world. This week, I'd like you give your opinion on what you think makes Montana unique compared to other places in the world. You can talk about Montana in general, or you can discuss only Missoula. It's up to you. Good luck!

ReplyDeleteI think what makes Montana unique is its nature. It has a lot of natural resources like trees and animals and water and mountains. It has a lot of beautiful places which are very important and very special. The mountains here are very beautiful and I heard that the name of the state Montana derived from the word mountain. What is important in Montana that it is still keeps the nature almost as it is. There are no many factories. I mean the industrial life did not cover the nature. It has great places like Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park. One more thing that I like about Montana is that you can still see the Native American with their traditions for me their history is very interesting and very important and in some how I feel sorry for them. In general, Montana is special and unique because of its Nature and Nature is important to the whole world in many aspects.

ReplyDeleteFor me, landscapes of Montana are handsome. Its nature, its wildlife and its flore are unique because here you can see wolves but also grizzly bears which is amazing. Moreover, in Montana, there are two natural park which are Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park. Also, we can see Native Americain and learn their history and their culture. Furthermore, I think that is very important to know how Native Americain came in the Montana and know what they had done to live in this huge place! Then, the weather in the Montana is, in fact, really nice because even if it is cold during the winter, it can be hot during the summer and we can see the "big sky" which is one of the name of the country. Finally, the last point where Montana is unique is horse riding. It's simply the world of cowboys where the horses have been used a lot, and for a lot of things. Nowadays, Montana is really famous for natural horsemanship with the "Haras de la Cense" created by Andy Booth.

I thank what makes Montana unique is its nature and its landscapes. Another reason is its clean air that is there are no factories nor pollution. in addition to its small and quiet towns. There are no big cities which make traffic and noise. I believe this what makes it unique. If there were an ocean, Montana would be my favorite :).
hi! As for me, what make Montana unique is, firstly its landscapes ans its nature as everybody said! its very beautiful and for me its unusual!! Secondly, i think that Montana is safe, compared to the other American countries like Seattle or New-York. Also, its very quiet and this is very good for us,students, because of our studies! Thirdly, Montana is one of the rare countries which don't have taxes on sales, and I really like it! If I can, I'll live in Montana, especially Missoula, when i'll be old because its very quiet and the nature is appeasant. That's all, hi!

ReplyDeleteMontana has an incredible and amazing nature. I really like nature in Missoula and i think this is makes Montana, Mossoula uniq. As i wrote in the previous comments i like Spring in Missoula. Also the air that is, if you will go to other states like East Cost you will see the difference. The diference between Montana and East is fresh, pure air. No chemical stuff here in Missoula (in my opinion). NICE Place! :)

ReplyDeletewhat make Montana unique is an atomosphere.I like a peaceful atmosphere in Missoula. I'm feelimg a clear atmosphere every morning. When I went to NY, I couldn't feel like Missoula, and Missoula is very safety town.I think Missoula is the very nice place in USA.

ReplyDeleteI just finished to read you guys comments and I totally agree that landscapes of missoula is awesome. The day after I came here, when I woke up in the morning, the vista was beautiful. I could see the clean sky and mountains covered with snow! Moreover, when I went to outside to by food, I can smell the fresh air. "Oh my god! I am in Montana, the city of big sky!" haha :)It blew off my gloomy feelings. Finally, the squirrels!!!!!!!! There were squirrels here and there, all over the campus! Oh my god!!! "Is it squirrel that I am watching now????" In Korea, especilly in Seoul, I bet, It is totally impossible. I have never seen a squirrel before, right in fornt of my eyes! It made me suprised.
It is just land and belong with it, that is unique in Montana.The area of Montana is as gig as Japan country. First, Montana has two national park, Glacier and Yellow stone are completely berry beautiful place in the world, I have never been though. In really, Many kind of animal are living in there. More over, in river, even they sad water was polluted by mining, a lot of fish are too. Second, Montana is rich in natural resource; gold, silver, copper and more. The land is origin of there. And we have never forgotten that people who ancestor are native American live in Missoula,

ReplyDeleteAs for me, it's beautiful nature. Many students in my class already wrote about same opinions...but nature of Montana is really really beautiful!! I've never seen that much nature before. At the morning, the air is really clear. At the noon, we can get beautiful sunshine. At the night, we can see beautiful stars...when I was in Japan, I can't see and feel like this nature because there are so many cars, buildings, people, trains, buses,,,,there is always clowd...so as Ruda said, I've never seen squirrels front of me! I really like this nature. sometimes it makes me bored...haha But here is very nice place for study. I really like Montana.
