Let me start off by saying I had a great time on our field trip last Wednesday. It's always fun to see Kate and her birds, and Kootanei Creek (in my opinion) has to be the most beautiful place around Missoula. I hope you all had a good time. ReplyDeletefirst of all, I wanna thank Josh for this Idea, Julie for her work and the other stuff, and the other teachers. second, I wanna thank the students who participated with everything such as taking photos. I really enjoyed this trip. The most interesting thing for me was the hiking part(Kootanei Creek). we had a lot of fun while walkin and playin with the chilly water. However, Kate's house was very compelling and fun. The most interesting thing in Kate's house was the eagles. Nobody would keep eagles nearby a house, and the other thing was her programs with schools.

What I like most in the trip is the hiking. I enjoyed it very much because I love hiking and the natural scenes were amazing and of course hiking with our teachers and our friends is a lot of fun. I really enjoyed that.
what I found interesting about our trip to Kate's house is her care about injured birds. I respect that so much. People should care about animals and help them. I also respect her educational efforts. I want to thank her about letting us to see what her massage is and her efforts and work. I also found the bird statures interesting and beautiful.

ReplyDeleteFirstly, i just want to say thanks to ELI for this trip! I really appreciate everything! Thanks to Kate, i saw for the first time those kinda species of birds-in my country--in my country, we almost don't have those birds. I think that she is amazing; she is really human because she takes care of injured birds. Also, she is courageous; the birds can be dangerous but she thinks more of their well-being. In addition, i think that it's very cool to give birds education--if i can say it-- to the students! Nowadays, children are more interested in TV and clothes, but she contributes in the action of make children and people in general aware of the nature. Thanks again for all! Josh, by the way, i agree with you! even if i don't know the others, i think that Kootanei Creek is the most beautiful place here!

ReplyDeletei really liked our trip. It was fun and interestng,also i learned i alot of things that i didn't know. The best part for me was birds. i never knew before that bird can live more than 15 years, it surprised me. Also, the other small bird like owl i forgot the name, i was amazing he was sooo small, OMG he was so cute, i loved it! Moreover, i liked our hiking, Missoula has beautiful nature and i really enjoyed it. I took a lot of pictures and i will show them to my friends and let them know what i learned. :) We should have more trips like this :)

ReplyDeleteThe trip was very interesting and I really enjoyed that trip because we did not have Grammar class on that day! It was the best part to me!!! Hahahaha >_<!!! How about you? I bet all of you agree with me. Hahaha!! Anyway, it was very good trip with fantastic weather except the wind. Especially I really enjoyed seeing birds. The tiny owl was the favorite one; I really wanted to take that bird to my dorm as a pet!! However, I knew I could not do that, so I bought a tiny owl doll when I visited the museum. Also, I was enjoyed the hiking, too. The weather was very good and the landscape was very beautiful. If the water had not been cold, I would have thrown Kazusa into the river. That was the only thing that I felt sorry for our trip. Hahahahaha!!!!

The best part is hiking!! It was interesting. I wanted to go in the liver. The landscape was really beautiful!!!

ReplyDeleteFirst I want to say that I am agree with Ruda!!!:)Therefore, we didn't do grammar, but we have done listening and speaking practice!
To be more serious, I really appreciate this trip, and I want to thank you the teachers of the ELI for that.
To me, our trip to Kate's house was the best part of the day because I have never approached so near hawks and eagles, it was wonderful, and she was really nice and interesting. Moreover she does a great thing for these birds due to the fact that without her they would be died; in other words, she is a kind of mum for all these amazing birds.
The hick and the picnic were also nice. There was just one problem for the lunch--the wind! Otherwise, it was a great place, and I really enjoy the saoudis' food, especially the cake!

ReplyDeleteanyway, that field trip was so fun. I remember Josh had said about the field trip that he would take us to the beautiful place and it would be interesting. Yeah! Exactly! It was great to know Missoula. I had never known about both of them before the trip.
And the place to felt more exciting to me is the raptor center. Usually, that kind of birds, raptor, are frying here sky; they keep up a stream of the updraft; however, the place of eagles can not fly make me feeling strong impression. Moreover, It was good to hear about don't teach the eagles feather except native American.
I wish that many people will come to there and feel something to the project. Finally, thanks for everybody.

I really enjoyed this trip because I could know many natures in Missoula. I was so surprised when I saw many birds because I've never seen those kind of birds in Japan except zoo...I could know Missoula has really beautiful nature again. Also I enjoyed this trip because of my friends. We meet everyday in class also and out of class, but I don't really meet some students out of class. so I could take more than before, also I could know their different faces! It was really good memory for me.
